About this Course
Collect, map and share: ArcGIS for Indigenous workflows
Learn how to use the ArcGIS Online web portal to find data, collect your own information, prepare it for use and create story-rich maps that interweave data and context through visualization.. To get you started, this course introduces you to key ArcGIS apps, including ArcGIS Field Maps and ArcGIS Survey123 for data collection, ArcGIS Dashboards for monitoring field activities and ArcGIS StoryMaps for sharing location-based stories and insights.
While lessons introduce core GIS concepts, exercises are grounded in Indigenous contexts. Participants explore the significance of land in shaping a story and how ArcGIS tools can support connection and meaning.
