Instructor Profile

Oscar Andrade-Rios, Associate GIS Analyst

Oscar has a B.Sc. in Geology and a B.A.Tech in Geographic Information Systems. He has experience as an instructor at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), delivering lectures on topics including Data Capture Techniques, Data Modelling, Spatial Data Analysis, and Geovisualization using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Web Apps.

Oscar has been using Esri products for over seven years in the GIS industry as a GIS consultant, focusing on environmental projects involving disciplines such as geology, hydrology, wildlife and vegetation conservation, and inundation mapping, among others.

Oscar has visited all continents and is always open for a conversation in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
